Christmas FRIEND Gifts #1

These would be great to give out at work, to neighbors, for people you don't know what to get and don't want to spend a lot, but want to show your holiday spirit.

Christmas Dishcloth and Dishtowels:

Thank God for dirty dishes

They have a tale to tell,

While others may go hungry,

We've eaten very well.

With home, health, and happiness

I shouldn't make a fuss.

By the stack of evidence,

God's been very good to us.

Add this poem to a set of Christmas dish towels.

Help with the Mess

I"m giving you some "Joy" to help with the mess

May the spirit of this holiday be the very best.

Add this note and a bow to a plastic bag filled with a bottle of Joy dish soap, dish scrubby, and dish cloth.

 Candy Cane Seeds

I once knew a gardener who knew how to grow

Bright tasty candies, right out of the snow

I asked him to share his secret with me

And this is what he replied quite readily

To garden in winter is difficult you see

It takes lots of care and a very special seed

I'll give you a couple to grow your own treats

And you'll soon reap a harvest of candy cane treats.

(Use round, red and white peppermint candies) This year I used a Candy Cane filled with red and green M&Ms.

This Christmas I Ran Out of Time

THYME' in hand ~ not wrapped

~a bow on the top of the lid- with a note attached

"SORRY ...RAN OUT OF THYME ...

HOPE THAT YOU HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS"

Christmas Paper Towels

"May the "absorbing" spirit of Christmas

"blot" out your troubles,

"soak" up your sorrows,

"wipe" away your difficulties,

and may the New Year

"saturate" you with blessings all the year through.
